Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of norsetechnologies.com, our booking page, and the guides, articles, and other materials we make available there (together, the "Site"). The Site is operated by Norse Technologies, Inc. ("Norse," "we," "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Client work is governed separately

These Terms cover the Site only. Software development, ADAPT platform, consulting, and other services Norse provides are governed by a separate written agreement signed by Norse and the client, such as a master services agreement or statement of work. If a signed agreement conflicts with these Terms, the signed agreement controls. Nothing on the Site, including pricing approaches, timelines, or examples, is an offer or a binding commitment until it is set out in a signed agreement.

2. Who may use the Site

The Site is intended for business use by people 18 or older. If you use the Site on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

3. Our content and your license to use it

The Site and its content, including text, guides, graphics, logos, and the Norse and ADAPT names, are owned by Norse or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to view the Site and to download and use our guides for your own internal business purposes. You may share a guide with colleagues or advisors in its original, unaltered form with attribution to Norse. You may not sell, republish as your own, or modify our content, or remove any copyright or other notices.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Site in violation of any law;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or the systems behind it, or interfere with how it works;
• introduce malware or any harmful code;
• scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Site by automated means, except for standard search engine indexing;
• submit false information or impersonate another person or organization.

5. Information you send us

When you submit a form, book a conversation, or contact us, please do not send confidential or proprietary information unless we have a signed confidentiality agreement in place. Without one, we cannot treat unsolicited ideas or materials as confidential, and we do not owe compensation for them. Personal information you submit is handled under our Privacy Policy.

6. Educational content, not professional advice

Our guides, articles, and conversations are general educational material to help you make better software decisions. They are not legal, financial, or tailored technical advice, and they do not create a client relationship. Examples and figures are illustrative. You are responsible for decisions you make based on them.

7. Third-party sites and services

The Site links to third-party websites and services, including our scheduling provider and AutoDocs 365. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NORSE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NORSE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ITS CONTENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). This section does not apply to services provided under a signed agreement, which sets its own limits.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Norse and its officers, employees, and agents from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

11. Changes and access

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site after that means you accept the updated Terms. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site, or restrict your access, at any time.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Dakota, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cass County, North Dakota, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

13. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Norse about the Site, and they do not change any signed agreement between us.
